I am so appreciative of everyone taking the time to sign up and share the link.
I'll keep everyone in the loop as PAMA is included in important conversations, sort out the best way to collect feedback, and I'm working on communicating with another midwife to continue building our website.

This will take time, but I am feeling so encouraged that we can come together again across the state.
If you are a midwife in PA, please consider adding your name. For those of you who choose to keep a low profile and an understandably quiet practice, please trust that we will not share anyone's information without permission (i.e. Find a Midwife).
Membership is free at this time, as I don't feel comfortable asking you for money without being able to guarantee where that money is going. We will have to have dues at some point, in order to upkeep the organization, contribute to workshops/furthering education, and should it come down to it, political issues directly affecting the future of midwifery. Nothing here will be done without transparency, consensus, and what I hope is viewed as a fair, unbiased approach.
We deserve proper representation, easier lines of communication between our regions, and support; the families choosing us deserve to see our commitment to safe practice, accountability, maternity care, and who we are.
Please reach out to me with any questions or feedback about PAMA. This is for us, by us. I can't do this alone & I'm looking forward to getting to know those of you I don't know already.
